Historically the OIG updated its Work Plan a couple times throughout the year. However, effective June 15, 2017, the OIG will now update its Work Plan monthly in an effort to enhance transparency with its ongoing planning efforts. Newly initiated Work Plan items will be added, and completed Work Plan items will be removed.
The updates and new items added to the Work Plan can be found on their website under their “Recently Added Items” page, and recently published reports can be found on the OIG’s “What’s New” page.
We recommend providers review the Work Plan updates monthly and conduct proactive audits of the applicable areas identified in the Work Plan.
